Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, Shillong, in association with Mettalica-Sargam SCC observed Martyrs’ Day today.
March 23 is one of seven recognised days to honour martyrs in the country. It is the the anniversary of the executions of Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev Thapar and Shivaram Rajguru in 1931.
The programme was held at GBH Secondary School, Golflinks, Shillong where as many as 50 participants took part in the different activities organised on the day.
