As part of the observance of Aloka Yatra 2024, the office of the East Jaintia Hills Deputy Commissioner will be conducting a free eye check up cam at Khliehriat East community hall on February 2 and 3 from 9:30 am onwards.
Spectacles or aids prescribed will be distributed free of cost later within three weeks and if surgery is required, referrals would be made to relevant hospitals, a press release said.
A team of eight eye specialists will be conducting the camp.
