Four Meghalaya police officers have been nominated to the Indian Police Service (IPS) by the Government of India.
A notification issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs today states that the four MPS officers, Maxwell Balahun Syiem, Lakador Syiem, Bobby Sengjrang W Momin and Goldenbert Dean Kharwanlang, belonging to the 2004 MPS batch, have been nominated to the elite IPS ranks from the Joint Assam and Meghalaya cadre.
