The former Director of Health Services (MI)of the state, Dr. Aman War was injured on Friday evening after he was hit by a two-wheeler.
The incident occurred near IGP in the city when a scooty, bearing registration number ML05 AB 8948, hit Dr. War when he was passing through that road.
According to reports, the former DHS suffered head injuries and was immediately rushed to Civil Hospital, Shillong by the Traffic Police.
The rider of the scooty was also taken to the same hospital for a medical check.
