The family of a person who was found dead days after he went missing suspects that he might have been murdered.
Police said that the victim, Henry Basaiawmoit (42), reportedly went missing from his home at Pyndengumiong Eastern West Khasi Hills district, since June 29, 2025.
His uncle, Hilarius Basaiawmoit lodged a complaint that on July 2, the dead body of his nephew was recovered from a jungle near Mairangbah, Mairang-Laitdom Eastern West Khasi Hills district.
