As the election for the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly is approaching, a team led by Chief Electoral Commissioner, Rajiv Kumar has reached Shillong and held meeting to review poll preparedness.
Kumar accompanied by ECs Anup Chandra Pandey and Arun Goel held a meeting with all district electoral officers and superintendent of police at Vivanta Taj here.
As part of voter awareness, the officials also flagged off “Super 6” categories covering Super 6 categories that include Inclusive (Senior citizen), Accessible (PWDs), Participative (Women), Ethical, Transparent (EVM-VVPAT) and Free & Fair (Youth).
The Commission also released State KAP Baseline Report, Super 6 SVEEP brochure and the SVEEP music video “Vote for Sure”.
