An earthquake of 3.6 magnitude struck Assam at a depth of 10 km on Tuesday, according to the National Centre for Seismology (NCS).
The quake, centred on Kamrup district, hit at 8: 25 pm and was felt in Shillong and other parts of Meghalaya.
