Shillong, Oct 9: Two professors from Assam Don Bosco University have been included among the top 2% scientists of the world in 2025, as listed by prestigious Stanford University in the USA.
Prof. KG Bhattacharyya, a Professor in the Department of Chemistry and NAAC Coordinator has been listed in the field of Environmental Sciences while Prof. Raja Chakraborty, Principal of the Institute of Pharmacy in the field of Medicinal and Biomolecular Chemistry.
Don Bosco University Vice Chancellor Fr. (Dr) Jose Palely said, “We are very proud of the achievement of two of our Professors. One of the main focuses of Assam Don Bosco University is socially relevant research and we are doing everything we can to establish this research environment here, not only among our faculty and research scholars, but also among our graduate and post graduate students. We even have graduate students who have published papers at International level in their subject areas”.
