An assessment camp organised under the Pradhan Mantri Divyasha Kendra (PMDK) scheme will be held on Thursday at the Devakumar Memorial Hall near Sankardev College here.
The public has been invited to attend this special camp, which will start at 10am. The event is aimed at empowering people with disabilities and senior citizens by providing access to vital services and benefits under the PMDK scheme, a press release from the East Khasi Hills Deputy Commissioner stated today.
At the camp eligible beneficiaries will have the opportunity to receive professional assessment, support services and information on various welfare schemes designed to improve quality of life and promote inclusion. The event is free of cost and open to all in need.
