The Achik Holistic Awakening Movement (AHAM) has expressed its dissatisfaction over intermittent mobile phone network provided by Jio in Adokgre village.
The organisation has written to the managing director of Reliance Jio in charge Garo Hills region seeking the immediate steps to address the issue, which they said has affected consumers in various ways.
According to AHAM, the company provides strict network only between 6 am to 8 am and found that the generator set meant for the mobile tower needs repair. Despite several requests by the in charge of the tower to repair the generator, the company has never paid any heed, AHAM said.
“The consumers of Adokgre Jio services pay the equal amount of money for the services rendered, but have been discriminated through negligence and disgusting network service,” AHAM unit president Marchborn R Marak said.
He said failure on the part of the company to address the issue would push the organisation to take its course of action as rightful consumers.
