The College of Post-Graduate Studies in Agricultural Science (CPGSAS) at Umiam hosted a programme to distribute agricultural inputs to farmers today.
Thirty-five farmers participated in the programme during which water pumps, knapsack sprayers, bio-enhancers, neem bio-pesticide, French bean and pea seeds were distributed under projects funded by ICAR-IIPR Kanpur, the North East Hill component, and the Scheduled Caste Sub-Plan of the Indian Institute of Sugarcane Research, Lucknow.
