The University of Science and Technology Meghalaya (USTM) has once again showcased its academic prowess, with 62 students successfully passing the UGC and CSIR NET & JRF exams held in June.
This success follows a recent notable achievement where 386 USTM students cleared these prestigious national-level exams, further enhancing the university’s reputation for preparing students to succeed in highly competitive assessments.
USTM’s success is largely due to its comprehensive academic preparation and dedication to fostering excellence.
A key initiative contributing to these accomplishments is the university’s Pay Back Policy, which offers students the opportunity to have their entire course fees reimbursed once they pass competitive exams.
This policy not only motivates students but also rewards their hard work, providing them with financial support as they pursue academic excellence.
Chancellor Mahbubul Hoque, speaking on the university’s latest success, reaffirmed USTM’s commitment to expanding its coaching programs.
He stressed that the university’s goal is not only to help students pass exams but to prepare them to be leaders in their fields.
Hoque also emphasized USTM’s dedication to ensuring that financial constraints do not stand in the way of deserving students accessing higher education, underscoring the institution’s principle of equal opportunity.
Vice Chancellor Prof. GD Sharma congratulated the students, noting that USTM’s approach to coaching goes beyond traditional academics.
The university offers soft skills training, interview workshops, and motivational seminars, equipping students with the tools they need to succeed in both academic and professional settings.
Sharma highlighted that the achievements of USTM’s students are a testament to the strength of the university’s free coaching programs and its unwavering commitment to academic excellence.
This support system has been instrumental in helping USTM students excel in competitive national exams such as the UGC and CSIR NET & JRF.
