The North Garo Hills district administration today held an awareness programme on Meghalaya Right to Public Services Act, 2020 at Mendipathar College in Resubelpara.
The programme was held to sensitise the general public on notified citizen related services from government’s offices and the importance of time bound dispensation of government services.
During the programme it was informed that the Meghalaya State Public Services Delivery Commission was formed to oversee, monitor and regulate the implementation of the Meghalaya Right to Public Services Act.
Police, Medical, Social Welfare and Law departments highlighted their various online and offline services available to the citizens.
