In a major reshuffle in the East Khasi Hills district administration, at least ten MCS officers serving as Additional Deputy Commissioners of the district have been transferred.
Ronnieson Wahlang, Additional Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills was transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary to the Forest & Environment Department.
Banteilang J. Kharshandi, Additional Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills was transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary to the Education Department.
Shanborlang Warjri, Additional Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills was transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary to the General Administration Department.
Brenda L. Pakyntein, Additional Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills was transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner, Ri-Bhoi District.
Evarinia L. Warjri, Additional Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills was transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner, Ri-Bhoi District. She will also function as Additional Deputy Commissioner, in-charge Patharkhmah (Civil) Sub-Division.

Nongsteng, Assistant Commissioner, East Khasi Hills and Block Development Officer, Mawphlang Community & Rural Development Block, was transferred and posted as Assistant Commissioner, Ranikor (Civil) Sub-Division. Further, his services are partially placed at the disposal of the Community & Rural Development Department for appointment as Block Development Officer, Ranikor Community & Rural Development Block.
