Prominent UDP leader from Bajengdoba Nexton Marak, and more than 1000 of his supporters joined the Meghalaya TMC today.
Marak and his supporters were inducted into the party by Leader of the Opposition, Dr Mukul Sangmaand Meghalaya TMC leader from Bajengdoba, Ashish Marak.
Marak had contested the last MDC elections on an NCP ticket. Earlier, he was part of the NPP and actively campaigned for MLA candidate Pongseng Marak.
Meanwhile, about 200 supporters from NPP, BJP and INC joined the TMC at an event held at Khujikura Ground in Dalu today.
The newly joined leaders were inducted into the party by Meghalaya TMC candidate from Dalu Sengkal A Sangma and Meghalaya TMC State General Secretary, former MLA of Dalu Mukul Das.
