The East Khasi Hills Superintendent of Police (Traffic) has informed local taxi and autorickshaw owners that stickers for their vehicles will be issued from January 5, 2022 to February 28, 2022.
Documents required to be produced before the office to avail the stickers are registration, insurance, fitness, MLMTU and pollution certificates, permit, trading license for non-tribal owners, professional and passenger tax, copy of EPIC or Aadhaar or any other identity cards.
Owners/representatives are also asked to produce their final Covid-19 vaccination certificate and to wear face mask. Issued stickers should be pasted on the left side of the front windshield, the SP said.
