Two women of Nongdisong village, related to the octogenarian who was buried alive on suspicion of ‘practicing witchcraft’, were arrested by West Khasi Hills police today.
Sildaris Marngar (21) and Ephrilda Marngar (54) were arrested for being part of the crime committed on October 7, last.
Police have so far arrested 23 persons, including the two women, all of whom are from the Marngar clan and relatives of 80-year old Moris Marngar.
