Mawkyrwat, Dec 3: The Dorbar Shnong of Mawkyrwat in collaboration with the Village Defence Party, youth and women organisations conducted a raid at Mawkyrwat market and seized over 500 litres of illicit liquor and 2,075 bottles of IMFL.
The raid was conducted in the presence of South West Khasi Hills Superintendent of Police B. Jyrwa, Additional SP BK Jana, Mawkyrwat PS officer in charge JP Lakiang, Myntri of Mawkyrwat RR Lyngkhoi.
Additionally, the dorbar also felicitated R. Rymbai, the traffic officer of Mawkyrwat Police Station.
