A free health camp was organized in the village of Somonpara under Gambegre C&RD Block which benefitted at least 842 patients that came to the camp for medical assistance.
The event was organized by the West Garo Hills District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) yesterday, in collaboration with the office of the DMHO. The camp was part of a pan India Awareness and Outreach programme.
The event saw people from at least 15 villages taking part with an approximate 842 patients receiving specialist care and other services.
Many specialist services like Orthopaedics, Derma, Paediatric, Ophthalmology , Psychiatry, ENT, all vertical Programmes like Megha Health Insurance, Aadhar enrolment, ICDS, CNRD, Dist Legal Services, routine vaccination and COVID vaccination, family planning services, adolescent health services among others were also provided .
The health camp was inaugurated by DR Kharbteng, District & Session Judge cum Chairperson DLSA, WGH.
