A valedictory programme for two executive courses on Handloom & Handicraft and Bakery & Confectionery was held at the College of Community Science in Tura.
The event was graced by the chief guest, Don Felicient R Marak, General Manager of the DCIC Tura.
Jyoti V Vastrad, Dean of CCS Tura, provided an overview of the two 15-day training programmes held from August 19 to September 2, which were sponsored by the Directorate of Commerce & Industries under the RAMP Scheme of MSME.
The training equipped 50 participants from five districts of Meghalaya with technical skills in bakery and confectionery, handloom weaving, natural fibre processing, handicraft production and knowledge of modern design trends, eco-friendly practices and market demands.
