Thirty-five members of women job card holders and individual livelihood beneficiaries from all the 11 C&RD blocks were felicitated today at a programme organised to celebrate the district level international women’s week.
The programme was organised by the office of the District Rural Development Agency, East Khasi Hills District at the Conference Hall Deputy Commissioner’s office here which was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, D.Phawa.
Others who spoke on the occasion were D. Hynniewta, Project Director, DRDA, East Khasi Hills District, D.V.Lyngdoh, BDO Mawryngkneng Block and M.Kshir, BDO Mawpat Block.
