Members of KSU, FKJGP and HNYF will observe the third death anniversary of former HNLC general secretary Cheristerfield Thangkhiew on August 13.
According to KSU Mawlai Circle president Biangbor Paliar, members of the three organisations will put up black flags as a mark of protest against the killing of Thangkhiew from 9 am and will accompany the family members to pay floral tributes to the cemetery of the departed leader at Lawmali at 2 pm.
Paliar also urged all residents of Mawlai and Khasi-Jaintia Hills to join hands in paying respect to the late Thangkhiew on his death anniversary.
