Embracing the spirit of World Disability Day, which will fall on Sunday, the Association of People with Disability (APD) in Ri-Bhoi marked the occasion yesterday with a fervent celebration featuring diverse programmes.
The commemorative event took place at Sohnidan village. The president of APD Ri-Bhoi, Bluetisha Nongbet, along with parents and disabled individuals from the district, were also present to partake in the festivities.
Various competitions were held, including for dancing and singing, as well as a line-up of diverse programmes aimed at fostering inclusivity and raising awareness.
