The Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) South Garo Hills conducted the 7th Scientific Advisory Committee meeting today.
Namita Singh, Dean in-charge of the College of Community Science, Tura, chaired the meeting and Alice TA Sangma, Assistant Director of Agriculture in the Department of Agriculture’s district office, and Khlechandra Chongtam of NABARD were co-chairs. Many other officials and experts attended either in person or online.
During the meeting, Rike Chelchak A Sangma, Head in-charge of the KVK SGH presented the annual progress report of the KVK for 2024 and Tanya R Marak, Subject Matter Specialist (Plant Protection) presented the annual action plan for 2025.
A total of 32 participants attended the meeting and gave valuable suggestions. The members of the committee appreciated the work done during the previous year and gave their suggestions to improve the scientific work done by the institute.
