A seminar on smart financial planning, savings and fraud prevention was held at Raj Bhavan here today which was attended by Governor Chandrashekhar H. Vijayashankar, eminent financial experts, professionals, and stakeholders.
In his address, the Governor emphasised the significance of financial awareness and planning for long-term security. He underscored the importance of savings, investments, and fraud prevention in ensuring a stable financial future, particularly in light of emerging digital financial threats.
The technical sessions covered critical financial topics on where to save, invest, get insured and maintain financial Health by CA Abhijeet Kolapkar and smart financial planning for worry-free retirement by CA Abhijeet Kolapkar and how to avoid financial frauds by Shivam Palan.
The sessions provided attendees with practical knowledge on effective financial management and fraud prevention strategies.
The seminar, organized in collaboration with ICAI, successfully raised awareness on financial prudence and responsible economic decision-making for the employees of Raj Bhavan.
Deputy Secretary, Financial and Tax Literacy Directorate of ICAI Jyoti Singh was also present at the programme.
