Shillong, Apr 18: The University of Science and Technology Meghalaya (USTM) will host the Northeast NSS Festival 2026 from April 21 to 25, 2026.
The five-day event themed, “Empowered Youth for Viksit Bharat,” will be attended by National Service Scheme (NSS) volunteers from various Northeastern states, providing them with a dynamic platform to engage in leadership development and community engagement.
The core principle of NSS, “Not Me, But You,” will be featured, encouraging participants to focus on service and collaboration for the greater good.
With activities planned throughout the five days, participants can expect workshops, cultural programs, and discussions designed to ignite passion and commitment towards collective improvement, the USTM said.
The festival promises to be a transformative experience, paving the way for empowered youth ready to contribute significantly to a developed India, it added.
