A dead body of an unidentified individual was found inside a vacant room near the transformer at Barik point here on March 31, police said today.
Police said the man aged between 40 to 50 years was found unconscious inside the small room at around 2:15 pm. He was declared dead by medical officers at the Shillong Civil Hospital.
Inquest and other formalities were observed and after completion of post mortem examination the body has been kept at Civil Hospital Morgue for identification and claim.
