Eight young athletes from Meghalaya have been chosen to represent the state at the 3rd Mini U-11 East Zone National Roll Ball Championship, which will be held in Kolkata from November 9 to 10 at Salt Lake.
The team will be led by Meghalaya Roll Ball Association president Suklang Dkhar and will take on Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Arunachal Pradesh, Odisha, West Bengal and Sikkim. Coach Caldy Steward Nonglsang has prepared the team as well as possible ahead of the event.
The eight boys are captain Ezra M Kharnongrum of May Fair Secondary School Shillong; vice-captain Ivaan Agarwal of BDS International School, Shillong, Saiansh Kansal of BDW, Aarav Jain of BDW, Ridhaan Poddar of Army Public School, Sachiv Choudhary of Seven Set Hr. Sec. School, Shillong and Banshanlang Nongbri of St Anthony’s LP School.
Under the expert guidance of Coach Caldy Steward Nongsiang ( WKHD) this dynamic team is poised to make Meghalaya proud.
