Two professors from the College of Community Science, Tura are set to embark on a week-long international workshop at the reputed Asian Institute of Technology in Bangkok, Thailand.
The initiative sponsored by the Institutional Development Plan-National Agricultural Higher Education Project (IDP-NAHEP) and funded by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) through the World Bank will be held from December 16 to December 23.
This will be the third time that the teaching faculty members of the university participate in the programme.
Head of the department of textiles and apparel designing, Dr. Anupama Mishra and Dr. Shipra Nagar, associate professor of the department of human development and family Studies are part of the workshop.
They expressed their enthusiasm for the opportunity to gain exposure in the “Advanced ICT Applications in Agriculture and Allied Sciences” in Bangkok and conveyed their gratitude to university officials and faculty for their support and encouragement in pursuing this unique experience, a press release from the university today said.
