The College of Community Science in Tura held its second alumni meet on Saturday with the aim of getting past students to reconnect, network and engage in activities.
The event commenced with an invocation song performed by the second year students, followed by a welcome address by the Dean emphasising the significance of maintaining communication with alumni as invaluable assets to the college. Food stalls, beverages stalls and game stalls were all run and managed by the first year students.
A panel discussion was also held during the meet and was attended by various alumni members, present students, staff and faculty. The discussion was on the topic ‘Bridging Partnership Between Community Science Institutes and Public and Private Sectors for Graduate Advancement’.
The final part of the meet, helmed by the senior students of the college, was the cultural show.
