The central government is open to the idea of a passport office in Tura if the state government submits a proposal for one, Union Minister of State for External Affairs, Pabitra Margherita, said yesterday.
“Our ministry is currently working hard to provide services to the most remote areas of our country,” he said. “If such a proposal arises, we will discuss it, and we are optimistic about the possibility.”
