The ICAR- Krishi Vigyan Kendra, West Garo Hills organised its 29th Scientific Advisory Committee meeting today at the KVK training hall.
SDO of Jengjal Manish Kumar, Dr. A.K. Mohanty, Director, ATARI, Zone-VII, ICAR RC for NEH Region, Umiam, Dr. S.B. Singh, Nodal Officer of KVKs and Dr. B.P. Singh, Head, DTAC, ICAR RC for NEH Region were also present.
Dr. Monica Suresh Singh, Senior Scientist and Head of the district KVK presented the brief annual report for the year 2024-25. The presentation was continued by Subject Matter Specialist and Programme Assistants of KVK highlighting the annual report of 2024-25 and annual action plan of 2025-26.
Officials from various line departments, District Agriculture Office, District Horticulture Office, District AH & Veterinary Office, Soil & Water Conservation, Fishery, College of Community Science, CAU and others, including three progressive farmers attended the programme.
