The Trinamool Congress candidate for Sohiong constituency, Stodingstar Thabah, has strongly condemned the incumbent MLA, Samlin Malngiang, for his recent off the cuff comments that have gone viral.
A video recently went viral where Malngiang said that even religious leaders forget to pray when they smell good food.
Stating that such statements made by Malngiang have affected the esteem of the religious leaders, Thabah said that Malngiang cannot make comparisons between religious leaders and politicians during an election campaign.
