Synod College, Shillong celebrated the graduation of 500 students today at a ceremony, here today.
Special awards were given to students who were on the North Eastern Hill University merit List.
Director of Tourism Cyril D Diengdoh who attended the ceremony as guest congratulated the students for their hard work and commended their performance. He also congratulated the teachers of the college for paving the way for the students to succeed. He reminded students that the choices they make in life would eventually shape their future as well as the future of society at large.
Others present at the ceremony were President of the Governing Body, Synod College, Principal, Vice Principal, the IQAC coordinator, the teaching faculty and the non teaching staff.
