A delegation of State BJP leaders left for New Delhi to meet with party leaders and union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan to discuss the crisis surrounding the North Eastern Hill University (NEHU).
Led by cabinet minister Alexander Laloo Hek, the delegation comprises chief spokesperson Mariahom Kharkrang, general secretary E. Myrshing and executive member David Kharsati.
Kharkrang said earlier they had met with union minister of state for education Dr Sukanta Majumdar to discuss the issue after they had met the leaders of the NEHU teachers association and students union.
