Chairman of Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) Sanjay Agarwal will visit Shillong tomorrow for the inauguration of solar street lamps in a few villages near Sohra as per CBIC Swachhta Action Plan 2023-24 and Special Campaign 3.0 of DARPG.
It may be noted that the Commissionerate of Customs (Preventive), Shillong as part of the Swachhta Action Plan, is installing 49 solar street lamps in the four villages of Mawjrong, Dympep, Laitsohpliah and Sohrarim at vitally needed points, as identified by the local village authorities.
