The Deen Dayal Upadhyay Community College for Skill Development (DDUCC), a constituent college of North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU), conducted a skill up-gradation training programme focussed on food processing.
The event was held from July 22 to 26 at the DDUCC campus in Wahiajer, Jowai.
The programme provided hands-on training in the preparation of various food products, including Chicken Pickle, Peanut Chikki, Ginger Candy, Sweet Potato Chips, Pineapple RTS, Plum Jam, and Plum Squash.
A diverse group of 100 participants, including youths and mothers from the local community, who were eager to enhance their skills in food processing, took part in the programme.
