The Department of History along with the Cultural Committee of Shillong Commerce College celebrated the Golden Jubilee of Meghalaya’s statehood in the College Hall, which was also streamed online.
A special skit on the, “Hill State Movement & the creation of Meghalaya” was performed by the students of the college.
Principal, Dr. Sabita Sen delivered the address on the occasion. Songs and a dance were also performed. The event was attended by teachers, non-teaching staff and students of the college.
