After a staff member of the State Bank of India ICAR branch tested positive for Covid-19, the Deputy Commissioner of Ri-Bhoi has informed the general public that this branch will remain closed to ensure the general public’s safety.
The bank will stay shut from October 26 to November 1.
All customers who visited the branch from October 19 are advised to undergo home quarantine for 10 days with self-monitoring of their health by wearing masks, social distancing and frequent hand washing.
During the period of quarantine, if any symptoms related to Covid, like fever, cough and difficulty in breathing develop, they should first isolate themselves or contact the district control room on 03638232028/1077 and health helpline on 8787520449.
