A ‘rally for development’ to give people a glimpse of development under the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will be held in the city tomorrow.
State BJP in a statement said that the bike rally aims at raising awareness about the developmental work that has happened in Meghalaya because of the central government schemes brought by Prime Minister Narendra Modi government.
“Appropriately, the rally has been called rally of development,” it added.
The bike rally will commence from Fire Brigade Iewrynghep Ground at 9 am and culminate at the State Party Office at Bivar road.
State BJP president Ernest Mawrie will flag off the rally.
The party said the rally is significant because it is being organised on the eve of the Prime Minister’s visit to the State on Sunday.
