Mylliem Block Development Officer, Saloni Verma said that though the celebration of the World Environment Day was confined only to one day, everyone should keep in mind that protection of the environment and ‘Mother Earth’ must be a continuous effort. She called upon all present to make our surroundings “Clean and Green”.
Verma was speaking as chief guest at the celebration of World Environment Day on June 5 at the premises of St. Paul Parish, Upper Shillong.
