Shillong, Jul 1: The Khun Hynñiewtrep National Awakening Movement (KHNAM) has written to the Meghalaya Urban Development Authority seeking clarification over the prolonged delay in announcing the results for the Assistant Architect and Assistant Urban Planner posts.
KHNAM leader Thomas Passah stated that the delay has led to mounting frustrations among the applicants, who are now questioning the integrity of the recruitment process. “The youth of the state have lost faith in the employment and recruitment procedures of the government,” he said.
Demanding for clarification, Passah said the matter will be pursued through the Right to Information (RTI). He stated the importance of transparency in these processes, asserting that the prolonged delay raises suspicions of nepotism and bias.
“We demand immediate clarification from the authority concerned and that the final results be declared promptly,” he added.
