The Deputy Commissioner of East Khasi Hills has passed an order that curtails the opening hours of businesses involved in the liquor trade.
Operations of all IMFL ‘Off’ retail outlets shall be from 10am to 8pm from Monday to Saturday; home delivery licensees from 10am to 9pm Monday to Saturday, IMFL ‘On’ retail outlets from 1pm to 10pm daily, bonded warehouses from 10am to 6pm Monday to Saturday, canteens from 10am to 8pm Monday to Saturday and outstills from 10am to 8pm from Monday to Saturday.
