Shillong, Nov 6: The Shillong Science Centre organised a two-day night sky observation programme on November 4 and 5 at Myrkhan village, Upper Shillong.
Students learnt astronomy through hands-on activities, identification of constellations and demonstrations on the use and working of telescopes.
Under the guidance of the Science Centre and resource person Rahul Chatterjee, they observed celestial objects through telescopes and got their questions on planets, stars and the universe answered in an interactive question and answer session.
