Nongpoh, Sep 12: Dr Joram Aniya, Member, NITI Aayog, visited Ri-Bhoi district on Thursday to review central government development initiatives in Meghalaya’s Aspirational District.
Dr Aniya inspected key projects including Ginger Processing Unit at Bhoirymbong, Umroi Health and Wellness Centre, CMYC at Saiden, EMRS at Pahamsyiem and Marngar PHWC.
The visit was aimed at assessing progress and implementation of various government schemes and development programmes in the district.
