The Department of Mechanical Engineering at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Meghalaya will organise the 2nd International Conference on Recent Innovations and Developments in Mechanical Engineering (ICRIDME 2024) on November 14-16 at the State Convention Centre here.
In 2018 the department organised the first ICRIDME but the second edition was delayed by the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic. The event will serve as a platform for sharing the latest advancements in mechanical engineering.
The event will be graced by Rakesh Sehgal of NIT Hamirpur as chief guest and Sudipta De of Jadavpur University as guest of honour.
ICRIDME 2024 will bring together faculty members, researchers, students, practitioners and technocrats from academia, government and non-government organisations, as well as industry professionals. The conference aims to foster discussions and exchanges on the latest research and developments across all areas of mechanical engineering.
The conference features selected 97 technical presentations out of 170 submissions, hosting over 100 delegates across the nation.
