Shillong, Jun 22: The All Selsella NGOs’ Alliance have written to the Chief Minister directly to plead for a permanent Sub-Divisional Officer for Dadenggre civil sub-division.
The conglomeration said that the current SDO is holding charge on a temporary basis and there are, therefore, delays in processing of paperwork, such as approval of ST certificates. This hurts students, such as those applying for admission to the JNV school in West Garo Hills.
“The people of Dadenggre civil sub-division are facing unnecessary difficulties in obtaining essential certificates and other public services that require the approval and signature of a competent authority,” the letter said.
