As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Limited (NEEPCO) handed over an ambulance to Asha School in Happy Valley on Tuesday.
Elbin Deepika Doley, NEEPCO’s General Manager for HR and Corporate Social Responsibility, presented the ambulance to the school principal, Ipsita Ghosh.
Among the dignitaries present at the event were Sanjay Malki, the General Officer Commanding the 101 Area, and Retired Major Rajesh Kumar Jha, NEEPCO’s Director of Personnel.
During the event, Jha emphasized NEEPCO’s desire to be part of the evolution and transformational journey of Asha School.
He stated that the company aims to institutionalize its relationship with the school and mentioned that this initiative is not a one-time event but rather the beginning of more projects planned for the benefit of the school in the future.
