Star Cement celebrated the 54th National Safety Day yesterday in Lumshnong aimed to foster a culture of safety, health, and sustainability across all operations.
The celebration was held under the theme, “Safety & Well-being Crucial for Viksit Bharat,” wherein a host of activities was organised such as workshops on workplace safety, emergency preparedness and accident prevention techniques.
Awareness drives such as posters, presentations, and live demonstrations to reinforce safety protocols were held.
The company also felicitated its employees who made exemplary contributions to ensuring a safe work environment.
The celebration highlights the ongoing efforts to integrate best practices in safety management while enhancing employee well-being, company spokesperson Siddharth Banerjee said.
