The Mawkynrew Constituency Shillong Welfare Organisation will felicitate about 13 residents of Mawkynrew who excelled in various fields like sports, education and others.
The felicitation programme will be held on December 3 at Assam Kristi Hall, Shillong.
Addressing the media Albert Suting said that the organization was formed with an aim to assist the residents of Mawkynrew who stay and study in Shillong. He informed that students from the constituency studying in Shillong have always come across problems especially in times of application of admissions when results are declared.
“This the reason we want to have this get together so that we will recognize each other and be able to assist them in times of need. We appeal to the residents of our constituency who stay in Shillong to join us,” he added.
